MATERIA 2.0 BY MATIZ ESTUDIO

MATIZ ESTUDIO is a multifaceted design space where we share causes, teachings, and observations of materiality. With an emphasis on the quality and authenticity of materials, forms, and processes, MATIZ ESTUDIO promotes talent as a new way of creating and practicing experiences, giving voice and dialogue to our objects, with a single purpose: to create and share.

Since their launch in 2018, by industrial designers, Daniela Velarde, Mónica Velarde, and Laura Huerta, the studio has adopted an organic and collaborative approach to design, offering artists, designers, passionate artisans, and creatives from different disciplines, the approach and exposure of their work, turning MATIZ ESTUDIO into an avant-garde space in constant evolution.

MATIZ ESTUDIO hosts a full agenda of creative dissemination and exploration events, developing regional, national, and international design-object projects together, for the integration and promotion of native communities in the region, generating stories to tell every day.
