The Lavin Entrepreneurship Center at SDSU focuses on entrepreneurial education and engagement for students and community members. We host a variety of programs that promote this mission to further prepare the next generation of entrepreneurs. In addition, we are partnering with SDSU's College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, SDSU’s School of Art and Design and Cetys University to bring both design and cross-border emphasis to the event.

As designers, we are associated with creativity in the workplace. As entrepreneurs, we are associated with the business mentality. Yet, both need each other to develop.
How are they connected?
Inspiration. It drives both design and entrepreneurship. There is a constant want for innovation, regardless of where it comes from.
To highlight how both can be and are connected, SDSU’s Lavin Entrepreneurship Center, SDSU's College of Professional Studies and Fine Arts, SDSU’s School of Art and Design, and Cetys University invite you to join us to learn from the talented designer and entrepreneur Mel Lim, see design students present entrepreneurial ideas to a set of judges, and network with students, designers, and industry leaders with some food and refreshments. We look forward to meeting you all!
