About the hosts

Sibyl Rubuttom

Sibyl Rubuttom is currently the Artist-in-Residence at the Athenaeum Music and Arts Library and Manager of the Print Studio at the Athenaeum Art Center. She holds her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Rhode Island School of Design and her Master of Fine Arts from Yale University School of Art and Architecture. For 25 years, she was sole proprietor of Sibyl Designs where she designed custom-made fabric quilts, pillows, and wall installations for commercial and residential clients. Her chosen medium then shifted to paper and book arts. She co-founded Bay Park Press (2000-2017), a letterpress, and printmaking studio.

Griselda Rosas

Griselda Rosas received an MFA from San Diego State University and was born and raised in Tijuana, Mexico. Rosas is adjunct faculty at San Diego State University and the Bilingual Manager at the Athenaeum Art Center in Logan Heights. Her work is guided by her experiences living and working between the US/Mexico border region, an area in constant migratory flux.

Judi Tentor

Judi Tentor focuses her work on themes and topics about the environment. She finds inspiration in creative restlessness that manifests itself in exploring many different media, including paper, cyanotype, felt, wood, ink, gouache, assemblage, and found objects.
