The San Diego Chapter of the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) represents the global, multidisciplinary community of professionals who plan, design, and build experiences that connect people to place. With local chapters throughout the U.S. and in countries all over the world, we strive to create meaningful discourse about design's role in shaping how we experience public space. Members include graphic and information designers, fabricators, architects, exhibition designers, technology integrators, interaction designers, brand strategists, students, wayfinding specialists, teachers, and others who have a hand in shaping content-rich, experiential spaces.

Project Tours
Park & Market - The Art & Science Story
Enjoy an in-person presentation and tour of the recently completed UCSD/Merian Tower at Park & Market with the project team. The site thoughtfully combines architecture, public art, branding, and wayfinding design—a collaboration between designer, developer, architect, and other local artists to tell a compelling experiential design story.
Speaker, Ron Miriello, owner of the studio Miriello Grafico, acts as art director, designer, and artist to bring together comprehensive and culturally significant experiences for his projects. The shared wonder of art and science informs the brand-detailing Miriello integrated into this Carrier Johnson urban complex for Holland Partners.
