Process-ing

Explore a group exhibition showcasing functional art and design with a focus on material process. Each artist or designer has selected a material of their choice to create functional objects and art that inspires them specifically.

Artists in the show include ceramicist and sculptor Evan Lopez, Ceramicist Sofia Limon, sculptor Stephen Hartzog, and designer Nicholas Bijan Pourfard. All artists currently practice their work full-time in San Diego, and all practice within different mediums, allowing for a better opportunity to work together in creating one mutual cohesive space. The show will be open to the public for one day and then by appointment only for the remainder of the week.

About the hosts

The Hill Street Country Club

The Hill Street Country Club is a non-profit organization dedicated to shaping the growing arts and culture scene in Oceanside and the surrounding North Country region. We strive to create an inclusive and diverse atmosphere that reflects the socioeconomic landscape of our community. To complement the traditional gallery space, we organize pop-up art shops, cultural events, and art workshops around our community. Local artists, business and residents all benefit from the interaction that The Hill Street Country Club facilitates.

“Encouraging art beyond gallery walls in order to create a culture where artists and community can thrive together in North County and the Greater San Diego Region“
