Farm Stand Party

Celebrate locally grown food and collaboration between creatives from San Diego and Tijuana region with Farm Stand Party at Pixca Farm.

Pastry chefs Arely Chavez of Tijuana and Letha Gimble of San Diego will create pie-inspired paletas using Pixca’s seasonal produce, flowers, and herbs.

Additionally, a collectable art poster designed by Angela Nguyen will be made available to attendees for this special occasion. The posters will be live screen-printed at the farm stand by Colin Kimzey.

Pre-order your paletas and posters now at home-ec.co/sddw for pickup at the event. All sales will benefit Foodshed Inc, a local organization cultivating equity by aggregating local produce from small, regenerative farms, and distributing it to people who are committed to food justice and/or negatively impacted by inequities in our food system.

Attendees can also take a guided farm tour with Pixca farmers at 11 a.m. or 1 p.m.
