Projecting Futures

The third annual installation of AIGA San Diego's PROJECTING FUTURES exhibit is a unique image and motion-graphic based immersive experience. The event projects the work of designers throughout the San Diego/Tijuana region - from students to veterans - onto one of the most beloved and historic facades in Balboa Park, the Spreckels Organ Pavilion, with accompaniment by the San Diego Youth Symphony.

This special outdoor showcase features a diverse range of mediums from graphic design, illustration, kinetic typography, motion graphics and video, guiding viewers through a dynamic exploration of inspiration and imagination.

*BONUS: An exciting opening extravaganza will precede the showcase and start at the Mingei Museum at 8pm. Join us in celebration as we make our way to the Spreckles Organ Pavilion with special guests Animal Cracker Conspiracy, San Diego Youth Ballet, and San Diego Junior Theatre. Viewing is free and the show will run in the evening.
